State of ARC -- 2021-02-11

Welcome to the Advocates for the Rights of Characters news blog!

ARC's main website is online, and gradually improving. Articles are being added, and existing articles are being improved on. Eventually it will be a great resource on the subject of characters and ethics!
The Shrine To Characters has been created, though it is unfortunately empty at the moment. If you have any offering you'd like to give, please contact us!

And here are some things that are being worked on:

RSS support should be added to the website within the next few months.
Work is underway on a collection of posts explaining why characters are people in thorough detail.
A new idea is being explored for how authors can keep a lot of characters alive and well. Keep a lookout for a post on this subject!

When these are all finished, we'll be able to begin public outreach efforts. There's a busy future ahead for ARC!
